Great News 780 students & 20 full time Registered Teachers!
Groves DE For 2008
We are now in our fourth year of operation, we have 23 full time Teachers dedicated to Distance Education. In April, staff moved into a new purpose built facility.
Enrolments for 2009. We have received a great number of enrolments for new students in 2009. We encourage those wanting to enrol in Groves Distance Education to send their enrolment forms back to us as soon as possible.
Parents often ask whether our teachers in Distance Education are working full time within DE, or if they are also providing Day School lessons, planning and or duties.
This is an important question and parents are pleased to know our DE teachers are employed within DE full-time.
Our management team has learned from experience that Distance Education requires resources just as a Day School, which is why we have teachers focussed solely on DE.
Forums and a Buy/Sell/Exchange section are now up and running. More...

Helping students reach new heights...
If you are feeling overwhelmed by the amount of information or have questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call. Computers and the Internet can be very empowering, but sometimes it is good to speak with someone regarding specific questions.

Reminders - Please have your Work Return assessment items sent to us no later than 3rd April 2009.
October 15th 2008 - 20 DE students and 4 Teachers left for Fiji on a Missions Trip. During this visit the group helped locals with building maintenance jobs, constructing a necessary walkway and donating much needed computer equipment. This trip was a real blessing to many families in Fiji.
Workshops - In 2009 we are having a number of workshops. These workshops are a great opportunity for students and families to get involved, learn specific topics and make new friends. Please contact you teacher or look in our upcoming Bulletins for more information.

What great purpose has God planned for you?
|
|
“… the plans I have for you …’ says the Lord “ … are plans for good … and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jer 29:11

When working with students our aim is to ensure they experience success!
When people experience success they enjoy the activity, and want to
have a go again... and what people practice they get good at.
Every
chance I get I like to share a few important points from the Bible that
are very relevant to learning success "we can do all things through
Christ Jesus who strengthens us..."
And "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love power and a sound mind..."
What does it mean to have a sound mind? Scientists marvel at the power
of the brain, and apparently we only use ten percent of our brains at
any one time. |
|

If God has called you to home based education, give your all. You have
a wonderful calling, you are selling education and futures... Your
message is only second to salvation through Jesus Christ. As parents
and teachers we have the opportunity and privilege of making a
difference for good in our children’s lives.
Don't wish you were somewhere else!
